Athletes Pitch – Win a Year Competition

Competition Rules

Athletes Pitch is giving athletes the opportunity to win a 12-month Athletes Pitch subscription.

A new winner will be selected every Friday during the competition period.

1. How to Enter

To receive one entry into the weekly draw:

  1. Follow Athletes Pitch on Instagram.
  2. Like the official competition post or Reel.
  3. Tag two athletes or teammates in the comments.

No purchase is required to enter.

2. Bonus Entries

Participants can receive one additional entry for each of the following:

  • Follow Athletes Pitch on Facebook.
  • Follow Athletes Pitch on TikTok.
  • Follow Athletes Pitch on X.
  • Subscribe to the Athletes Pitch YouTube channel.

A participant selected as a potential winner may be asked to provide reasonable evidence that the relevant bonus-entry requirements were completed.

3. The Prize

One winner will receive a 12-month Athletes Pitch subscription.

The prize:

  • Is not transferable for cash.
  • Cannot be exchanged for another prize.
  • May be awarded to an existing Athletes Pitch athlete, in which case the 12-month prize period will be added to their subscription.

No additional payment is required to receive the prize. South African consumer law prohibits imposing previously undisclosed conditions or requiring further consideration after a winner has been announced.

4. Weekly Draw

Entries for each weekly draw close at 23:59 SAST every Thursday.

A winner will be selected at random from the valid entries and announced on Friday.

If the selected entrant has not completed the required Instagram entry actions, the entry will be considered invalid and another winner may be drawn.

Once a weekly draw has been completed, the competition continues for the following week's prize.

5. Winner Notification

The winner will be contacted by Athletes Pitch through its official social media account.

Athletes Pitch will never request payment, banking details or payment information in order to claim a competition prize.

Participants should be aware of fake or impersonator accounts claiming to represent Athletes Pitch.

6. Claiming the Prize

The selected winner must respond to Athletes Pitch within 7 days of being notified.

If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within this period, or the entry cannot be verified, Athletes Pitch reserves the right to conduct another random draw.

The winner will be provided with instructions for activating or applying their 12-month Athletes Pitch subscription.

Any normal Athletes Pitch registration, account and onboarding requirements remain applicable when creating or activating an athlete account.

7. Eligibility

The competition is open to residents of South Africa.

Directors, employees, agents, consultants and suppliers involved in conducting the competition are not eligible to win where prohibited under applicable South African promotional-competition law.

8. Winner Publicity

Athletes Pitch may invite a winner to be featured on its website or social media platforms.

Participation in any photograph, video, testimonial, interview or other promotional activity is voluntary, and a winner may decline such an invitation. 

9. Fair Selection

Winners will be selected randomly from valid entries.

The competition will be conducted and recorded in accordance with applicable South African promotional-competition requirements.

Athletes Pitch reserves the right to disqualify entries reasonably believed to be fraudulent, automated, duplicated through fake accounts, or otherwise manipulated to obtain an unfair advantage.

10. Social Media Disclaimer

This competition is organised and administered by Athletes Pitch.

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X and YouTube are not responsible for the administration of the competition or the fulfilment of the prize.

By participating, entrants acknowledge that the competition is being conducted by Athletes Pitch and not by the social media platforms on which it is promoted.

11. Changes or Cancellation

Athletes Pitch may amend, suspend or cancel the competition where reasonably necessary because of circumstances outside its control, technical problems, fraud, legal requirements or other circumstances that prevent the competition from being conducted fairly.

Any material changes will be communicated through Athletes Pitch's official channels.
